Why Lao?
My first visit to Laos was in 2007, riding buses through the mountains and eating by the roadside — I fell for the place instantly. The mountains, the rhythm of life, and most of all, the people. Years later, I came back and stayed for five years.
During that time, I founded a community bar and live music space called EARTH. It became a hub for creativity, good times, and connection — locals and travelers side by side — known for its nightly live music and craft beer.
The pandemic closed our doors, but the bond with Laos stayed strong.
LoveLao Coffee is a continuation of that journey. It’s not just about beans — it’s about relationships, culture, and a deep respect for the land and those who grow from it.
